Misty Dawn Gallaher Halfhill, age 48, of New Castle, passed away at her residence the afternoon of December 23, 2024.

Born March 19, 1976, in New Castle, she was the daughter of Butch and Kimberly Gallaher.

Misty was employed with CVS Caremark Specialty Pharmacy as a customer care representative.

Among her many interests, she enjoyed baking, crocheting and spending time with her family and friends. She was a supporter of the Lawrence County Humane Society and St. Jude Children's Hospital among other charitable organizations. She was associated with Evangel Community Church.

She is survived by her husband, Eric D. Halfhill, whom she married March 27, 2017; her mother Kimberly; two daughters, Rayann Gallaher of Palmyra, PA and Sissy Gallaher of New Castle; one brother, Merle Gallaher of New Castle; one sister, Kimber Smith of Canfield, OH; and two nieces, Gabrielle and Ellie.

She was preceded in death by her father.

A Celebration of Life service will take place at the convenience of the family.
