Nancy Lee Bintrim, 76, of Slippery Rock Township, passed away the morning of November 22, 2020 at her residence, surrounded by family. Born August 1, 1944 in New Castle, she was the daughter of Harry and Marie (Smith) Barton. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Thomas G. Bintrim, whom she married July 10, 1964. Nancy was a 1962 graduate of Shenango High School and was employed as a secretary with Dan Jacobs Heating and Cooling. Previously she was the executive secretary at First Federal Bank and in earlier years worked for Riley Equipment. She was a former member of Center U.P. Church and a member of the Cultural German Society. Among her interests were fishing and playing darts. Nancy enjoyed being a homemaker and farmer, involved with the 4H Club. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three sons, Ty (Michelle) Bintrim of Waynesburg, PA, Andy (Lori) Bintrim and Travis (Becky) Bintrim all of New Castle; two sisters, Matilda Mitchell and Barbara Barton both of New Castle; 7 grandchildren, Joshua (Heather) of Waynesburg, Nicholas and Hunter of New Castle, Taylor (Jason), Travis, Jr., Kayci, Brayden all of New Castle; and 4 great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Grant of Waynesburg and Alaina and Brantlee of New Castle. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Frank, Harry and William Barton. A private memorial service will be held for the family at their convenience.
