Nathaniel Keith Stuart, 16, of New Castle, passed away suddenly at UPMC Jameson Hospital the morning of June 28, 2021. Born August 27, 2004, in New Castle, he was the son of Kevin and Jamie (Hall) Stuart both of New Castle. Nathaniel attended New Castle Christian Academy followed by Kennedy Catholic School from 7th-9th grade where he was active in their robotics program and was #27 on the baseball team. He then enrolled in Lawrence County Vocational School in their electrical program. Nathaniel was a gifted mechanic and enjoyed tinkering in his garage and workshop. He loved fixing lawn mowers as well as buying and selling them, which led him to starting his own business, Dan D Lawn Care and Landscaping. He was also an avid fisherman and enjoyed home remodeling and electrical work. Spending time with his friends was always Nathaniel's greatest joy. He was a member of First Church of God. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Reagan Stuart of New Castle; Aunts Stacey (Tim) Germani and Debbie (Dave) Snyder of New Castle; Uncle Ken (Erika) Stuart of New Castle; grandparents Marcia Hall and Pastor Bill (Carole) Hunley all of New Castle; and five cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandfathers, Kenneth E. Stuart and Ronald L. Hall. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 2, from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home with the Pastor Bill Hunley officiating.
