Nicole Ann Halstead, age 45, of New Castle, passed away the late afternoon of Sept. 29, 2021, at UPMC Hamot Hospital in Erie, PA. Born May 18, 1976, in Sewickley, PA, she was the daughter of Jimmy George (Deborah) and Patricia Torok (Edwin). Nicole was a self-employed DJ and loved to sing. Nicole loved fishing, the outdoors and gathering with her family and friends around a bonfire. She was a member of Beaver Assembly of God Church. Survivors include her mother, Patricia Torok of New Galilee, PA; her fiancé, Sid Coleman of New Castle; one daughter, Madison Halstead of Ellwood City, PA, stepdaughter, Christa Coleman of New Castle, PA; three sons, Tyler Gayheart, Marky Halstead and Ethan Halstead, all of Ellwood City, PA; one stepson, Sidney Coleman, Jr., of New Castle, PA; two brothers, Corry George and Dan (Marriane) Yurich; two sisters, Dee (Scott) Wilson and Kristin (Charlie) Haskins; nieces Charlotte and Ryeleigh and nephews Tristan, Dylan and Race; two grandchildren, Verina and Devonta "Groot" Coleman. In addition to her father James, Nicole was preceded in death by her stepfather, Keith Kollemann. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 5-7 pm at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc, 2429 Wilmington Rd., New Castle, PA. A funeral service will be held immediately following, at the funeral home, at 7:00 pm.
