Nora Leach, 93, formerly of Fairmont Avenue, passed away the morning of January 19, 2015 at Jameson Care Center. Born May 17, 1921 in Bellaire, Ohio, she was a daughter of Edward and Flora Patterson Kerner, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death on August 4, 2011 by her husband of 71 years, Donald G. Leach, whom she married October 5, 1939. Nora was a homemaker and an avid reader. She is survived by two sons, Gary Leach of New Castle, and Don Leach of Niskayuna, NY; two step brothers, Dale and Don; two step sisters, Jerry and Nada; three grandchildren, Courtney, Jeffrey, and Jennifer; and eight great-grandchildren. Per Nora's request, there will be no visitation or service.
