Norma Jean Bartholomew, age 89, of New Castle, passed away the early morning of Nov. 14, 2021, at Edison Manor. Born May 13, 1932, in New Castle, PA, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Mary Irene (Boyd) Seh. She was married to Carl J. Bartholomew who preceded her in death. Norma was a graduate of New Castle High School. For several years she worked as a bookkeeper for Vanport Sand and Gravel – Kenlar Construction. She also worked at Henley Truck Cover. Norma loved spending time with her family and was a devoted member of Maitland Lane United Methodist and Washington Union Alliance Church. Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Peluso and Heather (John) Wagner, both of New Castle, PA; two sons, Jeff (Rita) Bartholomew of Edinburg, PA, and Perry (Kim) Bartholomew of New Castle, PA; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Norma was preceded in death by one son, Ray D. Bartholomew. In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or services.
