Norma Fendlay, 77, of Portersville, Pa., passed away the morning of August 17, 2017 in Avalon Nursing Center. Born April 11, 1940 in San Diego, California, she was the daughter of Harry and Helina Trueblood VanZandt. She was preceded in death on July 4, 2006 by her husband of 46 years, John M. Fendlay, whom she married April 15, 1960. Norma was a homemaker and enjoyed her family, reading, and loved giving of her time to charities. She is survived by her daughter, Debi Evans (Mike Dusheck) of New Castle; two grandchildren, Heather Neely and Amanda Dusheck; and two great-grandchildren, James Jared Neely and Payton Waters. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00-6:00p.m.at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, followed by a Memorial Service at 6:00. The Rev. Marsha Parrish will officiate.
