Norma J. Green, 78, of 2617 Pulaski Road, New Castle, died the morning of February 16, 2011 in hospice care at Jameson Hospital.Born November 17, 1932 in East Liverpool, Ohio, she was a daughter of Donald and Agnes Hull. She was married to Harry Maylone for sixteen happy years until illness interrupted their life. In 1979 she married Kenneth Green. He survives in New Castle.She held a licensed practical nurse degree and enjoyed many, many years of service at the East Liverpool Hospital in East Liverpool, Ohio. She later worked at Cedar Manor in New Castle.Norma loved traveling, camping, attending ceramic classes and had a zest for life which enriched everyone who came to know her. She was a loving wife, mother, step-mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Debra Maylone Persohn and husband David R. Persohn of Georgetown, OH; one step-daughter, Frannie Dell and husband Raymond of New Castle; one step-son, Ron Green and wife Kathy of New Castle; two grandchildren, J.D. and Kristy Persohn of Fostoria, OH and Ashley Persohn Valentine and husband Scott of Cheviot, OH; four step-grandchildren, Jeanette Dell Caggiano and husband Russ, Michael Green, Mark and Tracy Green, and Tami Green Smith; several great-grandchildren; and one aunt, Faye Senko of Phoenix, AZ.She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband, Harry.Visitation will be on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and Friday, Feb 18, 2011, from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.A funeral service will be held on Friday, Feb. 17, 2011, at 1:00 at the funeral home. The Rev. Barbara Moore will officiate.
