Pamela J. Crist, age 80, formerly of New Castle, passed away April 30, 2025, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Born September 6, 1944, in New Castle, PA, she was the daughter of Jasper Donston and Dorothy (Megan) Book.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Crist, on Nov. 4, 2020.

A 1962 graduate of New Castle High School, Pamela was employed with Airway Industries and later became a homemaker.

Among her interests, she enjoyed crafting, making beautiful wedding cakes, and had a love for chocolates. While living in New Castle, she enjoyed attending church services at First Assembly of God.

She is survived by one daughter, Jill Mora-Perozzi of Wilmington, NC; one son, John T. Mora of Stafford, VA; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, David, James and Timothy Donston, and one sister, Karen Hitchen.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th, from 10:00-12:00 at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle, PA.

A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation Friday at 12:00, with Pastor Stephen DeSantis officiating

Burial will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens in New Castle.
