Paris Wilson Hindsman, 82, of Neshannock Township, passed away the evening of January 15, 2021 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Born June 30, 1938 in New Castle, he was the son of Ellet and Gladys (Hoffman) Hindsman. He is survived by his wife of nearly 64 years, Doris Jean (Grant) Hindsman, whom he married January 18, 1957. Mr. Hindsman was a lifelong resident of the New Castle area and attended Mahoning Elementary School, New Castle High School and Youngstown State University. He was employed with Youngstown Sheet and Tube (LTV) as an electrician for 30 years. Following his employment with Youngstown Sheet and Tube (LTV), he worked for Chrysler Corporation in Twinsburg, Ohio for 14 years until his retirement. He was a member of the Eagles No. 455 in New Castle and was a 32 Degree Mason in the Mahoning Lodge #243. In addition to golf, Paris enjoyed traveling in his motor home with his wife, visiting all 50 states. Together they also toured all over Europe and Mexico as well as other countries. He was extremely proud of his family and his grandchildren and loved spending time with them. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Debora (Rob) Shaw of Mooresville, NC and Diana (Ray) Yohman of New Wilmington; two granddaughters, Ashley (Scott) Rowland of Monroe, NC and Danielle Yohman of Hermitage; and one great-grandson, Nolan Yohman of Hermitage. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Vera Hartzell; and one brother, Richard HIndsman. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
