Patricia Sue Cornelius, age 76 of New Castle, passed away the late afternoon of April 14, 2026, at UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Born March 7, 1950, in Dallas, TX, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Doris (Haire) Cornelius.

Patty was a graduate of Stranahan High School located in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She was a beautician who loved her clients. Patty enjoyed reading, especially Danielle Steel and Tom Clancy, novels. She also enjoyed history, especially learning about the early 20th century. Patty loved playing solitaire and watching classic movies. She will always be remembered as a kind and compassionate friend to all.

She is survived by her son, Harry (Tina) Cornelius of New Castle, PA; and three grandchildren, Brianna Cornelius, Holly Cornelius, and Donald Cornelius.

In addition to her parents Patty was preceded in death by her brother, Marshall D. Cornelius.

In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.
