Patricia H. McLure, 78, of New Castle, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 with her sons by her side at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born November 11, 1942 in New Castle, PA she was the daughter of the late D.R. and Janet (Payne) Homer. Patty was a graduate of New Castle High School, class of 1960, and attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Youngstown State University. She worked in retail most of her professional life, including 20+ years at Fisher's Big Wheel where she was a store manager and buyer. Patty enjoyed Broadway shows and was an avid reader. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her two sons, Lee (Barb) McLure of Carlisle, PA and Mark (Erica) McLure of Wexford, PA, as well as grandchildren Megan and Oliver and great-grandson Robert. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no service at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to the New Castle Public Library. Arrangements have been entrusted to the R.
