Patricia “Patty” Pendleton, a devoted servant of God, loving matriarch, and cherished friend, peacefully entered her eternal rest on September 19, 2026, at the age of 77.

Patty truly lived as an angel on this earth. She possessed a rare and beautiful soul, showing unconditional love to everyone she met and consistently giving of herself without expecting anything in return. Above all, Patty loved the Lord. Her deep, unwavering faith was the guiding light of her life, and she beautifully reflected Christ’s love through her boundless generosity and kindness.

Her faith was matched by her hands on devotion to serving others. Patty poured her heart into her community, notably through her dedicated work with Operation Christmas Child, where she packed shoeboxes to bring joy and hope to children worldwide, and the New Life Bread Basket, ensuring her neighbors where cared for and fed.

At home, Patty’s greatest joy was her family. She was the ultimate caregiver, happiest when spending quality time with those she loved. Her kitchen was the heart of her home, where she constantly expressed her affection by cooking and baking for family and friends. To receive a meal or treat from Patty was to taste pure love.

She leaves behind a rich legacy of faith, kindness and devotion as a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, GiGi, aunt and friend. While our hearts are heavy with her passing, we rejoice in knowing she is in the arms of her Savior, hearing the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tony; her daughter, Tonya; her brother, Butchie; her sister, Nancy; and her Uncle Tony.

Surviving her are her daughters, Dawn (Scott) Hooks, Petra (Clay) Koenig; sons, John Pendleton, Jr. and Danny Gatdola; sister, Jackie (Jay) Sweet; Grandchildren, Jenna, Justin, Jamie, Jessica, Scotty and Brandon, Caitlyn, Cayla, Caylee, Mae, Ethan, Evan and Anthony. Great grandchildren, Leo, Ayva, Kali, Jace, Julian and Juliana; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A celebration of Patty’s beautiful life and faith will be held on October 22, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at New Life Baptist Church, State Rt. 208, New Wilmington, PA.

In honor of Patty’s angel heart and lifelong mission of giving, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Operation Christmas Child or New Life Bread Basket.
