Patricia Lynn Taylor, 58, of New Castle, passed away at home the night of February 27, 2013. Born April 5, 1954, in New Castle, she was a daughter of David and Lavinia Floyd Taylor.She was a graduate of Jameson Hospital School of Nursing. Prior to her employment with Indian Creek Nursing Home as Assistant Director of Nursing, Patricia was a staff nurse with Jameson Hospital. She was a member of the Jameson-Shenango Alumni Association. She enjoyed playing both the piano and the organ, and reading. Patricia was an active member of New Castle Bible Church where she was a Sunday school teacher, treasurer of the Ladies Bible Study, choir member and former organist. Survivors include two brothers, Robert J. Taylor and Jeffrey S. Taylor, both of New Castle; one nephew, Christopher Taylor of Chagrin Falls, OH; three nieces, Jennifer Blank and Rebecca Taylor of New Castle, and Adrianna Frechetti of Erie; and one great niece, Alayana Grace Taylor. She was preceded in death by her mother in 2002 and her father earlier this year; her maternal grandparents, James and Florence Gould Floyd; and her paternal grandparents, Jonathan and Ruth Swanson Taylor. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation on Monday, March 4, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Max Bungard officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
