Patricia Ann Weidner, age 83 of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of Aug. 26, 2022, at Quality Life Services, Mercer. Born March 11, 1939, in Lebanon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Elizabeth T. (Spitler) Williams. On Oct. 7, 1961, she married her beloved husband of 60 years, Terry Weidner. He survives at home. Patricia obtained her bachelor's degree in education and taught for several years at Lebanon City School and Manheim Central Schools. Patricia spent many years tutoring and working with the mentally handicapped and was very close to gaining her special education license. She was a vintage jewelry vendor and enjoyed reading, going out to eat with family and friends, backpacking and vacationing in the Outer Banks. What she cherished above everything else, was spending time with her family. Along with her husband, Patricia is survived by her daughter, Anne Elizabeth and son-in-law Casey Alver of Vacaville, CA. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the R.
