Patrick J. Scarnati, 56, passed away peacefully in his sleep after a prolonged illness.

Patrick was born on February 28, 1967, in New Castle, and was the son of Shirley J. Ragnelli and Ricardo (Patty) Scarnati.

Pat worked as a laborer with Blair Strip Steel and was accomplished in carpentry and construction abilities. He was a graduate of Shenango High School. Mr. Scarnati loved spending time with his son and watching him play baseball and softball. Pat was extremely family oriented and was found to receive his greatest joy from the time that he spent with his mother, cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended family. He was also an adoring and devoted father to his dog, "Bella."

In addition to his parents, Patrick is survived by his son, Patsy Scarnati, of New Castle; one stepdaughter, Karley George, of New Castle; One brother, Ricardo Scarnati II, of Florida and long-time life companion, Debra J. Jenkins.

Mr. Scarnati was preceded in passing by his maternal and paternal grandparents, Patsy & Angeline Ragnelli and Dom & Anne Scarnati; his aunt & uncle, Marlane & Robert Lupo and his uncle Albert Mangino.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023, from 4-5 pm at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Rd. A memorial service will be conducted immediately following visitation at 5:00 pm, at the funeral home.
