Patty Y. Moore, 65, of New Castle, passed away the morning of May 29, 2020 at her residence. Patty was born on March 26, 1955, in New Castle, to the late Raymond and Bernice Stickel Miller. She married Edwin L. Moore on July 6, 1973. He survives. Mrs. Moore was the first Pharmacy Technician hired at Giant Eagle and finished her working career at The Medicine Shoppe. Patty was a 1973 graduate of Laurel High School. She had a passion for photography and was a member of the New Castle Camera Club. Mrs. Moore was a devoted member of First Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, Patty is survived by her two daughters, Kristene (Scott) Getz of Tremont, IL, Bethany (Glenn) Reno of New Castle; two sisters, Beverly Hall of New Castle , Sandra Suchonic of Butler and three grandchildren, James and Jenna Getz and Nicholas Reno. Mrs. Moore was preceded in passing by her parents. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6-8 pm at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Rd.
