Paul E. Fronius, 87, of New Castle, passed away the morning of May 5, 2016 at his residence. Born on April 20, 1929 in New Castle, he was a son of the late Andrew and Louise Diener Fronius. Paul married Inez A. Ezzell Fronius on November 18, 1950 whom preceded him in death on August 24, 2004. Paul attended New Castle High School and served in the United States Marine Corp. during peacetime. He was employed by Universal Rundle as truck driver and retired in 1994. He was a member of the Washington Union Alliance Church and served as a former usher. Paul enjoyed Sunday dinners with his family, taking care of his yard, and landscaping. He felt comfort in reading the bible as well as listening to his favorite music. He also enjoyed his time spent watching Nascar and football with his sons. He is survived by one son, Paul (Judy) Fronius of New Castle; daughter-in-law, Kristine Fronius; four grandchildren, Ryan Fronius, Jason Fronius, Terri Lynn Rechter, and Shelly Rae Stone; and two great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, Paul was preceded in death by one son, James A. Fronius; one brother; and two sisters. In keeping with Paul's wishes there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road with Rev. Dr. Richard Noble officiating.
