Paul R. Lauderbaugh, age 66, of New Castle, passed away at Quality Life Services of New Castle on December 29, 2023.

Born September 23, 1957, in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late William R. and Carol A. (Cunningham) Lauderbaugh.

He was preceded in death on February 12, 2021, by his wife of 44 years, Carol A. (Roudabush) Lauderbaugh, whom he married June 11, 1976.

A 1975 graduate of Lawrence County Vo-Tech, Paul served with the Army National Guard for 22 years. He was employed with Rockwell International for over 20 years.

Paul was a member of the Mahoning Sportsman Club and also was an avid card collector, Star Trek being among his favorites. He attended Maitland Lane Free Methodist Church.

He is survived by one daughter, Betty (Mike) Zatkovic of Bessemer, PA; one son, Paul Lauderbaugh (fiancé' Michele Italia) of New Castle; one brother, William "Billy" Lauderbaugh of Arizona; four sisters, Tina Wullschleger, Pamela Stewart and Vicky Herr all of New Castle and Melissa Lauderbaugh of Erie; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

There will be a one-hour visitation on Wednesday, Jan. 3, from 3:00-4:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 4:00 at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle with the Rev. John Fraser officiating.
