Paul M. McClimans, 88 of New Castle passed away on December 19, 2020 at Rhodes Estates. Born on May 3, 1932 in New Castle, he was the son of Paul and Rose (Mitkita) McClimans. He married Elene H. (Macko) McClimans on September 13, 1963 whom survives. He was a graduate of New Castle High School and attended Youngstown State University. Paul served his country in the United State Army from 1953 – 1955. He was then employed for over 40 years with Bell Telephone as a System Technician until his retirement in 1991. Paul was a member of Victory Christian Center in New Wilmington where he served as an Usher, greeter, and went on hospital visitations. He enjoyed flying airplanes, golfing, and bicycling. He was a member of Lawrence County Cycle Club. Along with his wife, Mr. McClimans is survived by one daughter, Susan Cameron of Ocala, FL; and one brother, David McClimans of Cleveland, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Karen Rose McClimans; one brother, Frank McClimans; and one sister, Janet Rose Campbell. Due to Covid, there will be no visitation at this time. A private family service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery.
