Paul Richman Pagley, age 83 of New Castle, passed away the evening of Dec. 23, 2020 at UPMC Passavant, in Pittsburgh. Born Dec. 16, 1937, in New Castle, he was the son of the late Domenick and Rachel (Perotta) Pagley. Also preceding him in death was his stepmother, Lucy Pagley. On Sept. 24, 1960, he married his wife of 60 years, Joyce (Maloni) Pagley. She survives at home. Paul was a 1955 graduate of New Castle High School. He served in the United States Navy from 1955-1959. Paul owned and operated Pagley's Shoe Service, for several years. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Paul was a member of St. Camillus Church. In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by one son, Paul (Robin) Pagley, Jr. Austin, TX; one daughter; Pamela Pagley (Brian Russell) of North Port, FL; one sister, Judy Oakley of Pittsburgh, PA; and two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Anna Pagley of Austin, TX. Along with his parents, preceding him in death are sisters, Rosemary Flanagan, Rachel Pagley, and Esther Stevens. In keeping with his wishes, services will be private. Entombment will be at Castleview Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the R.
