Paul E.
Ritchie
Jul 7, 1964 — Jul 24, 2025
Paul E. Ritchie, age 61, of New Castle, passed away the late afternoon of July 24, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.
Born July 7, 1964, in Ellwood City, PA, he was the son of the late Franklin and Doris (Kennedy) Ritchie, Sr.

Paul was a 1983 graduate of Shenango High School. He attended Butler Community College. For several years he was employed by General Electric and worked as a machinist. Paul faithfully served in the Army National Guard for twenty-one years, and of those years, he spent eighteen months in active duty serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Paul enjoyed the outdoors, NCIS TV, coaching ball, and shopping with his granddaughter's. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, active in 4H, and a member of the American Legion Post 343.
He was a man of deep honor, first a soldier, always a protector, and forever a hero. As a husband, father, and grandfather, Paul gave all he had - his strength, his time, his love – and never asked for anything in return. He taught his family through quiet courage, steadfast loyalty, and unshakable pride in the life he built. Paul is the standard his family will measure love, honor, and sacrifice against.
