Pearl I. Cunningham, 96, formerly of Cleland Mill Road, passed away the morning of March 11, 2011 at Silver Oaks Nursing Center after a lengthy illness. Born August 10, 1914, in New Castle, she was a daughter to the late Fred and Amelia Stickle. She married Eugene "Brick" Cunningham. They resided in Willow Grove, south of Mahoningtown, PA, until moving to Cleland Mill Road. Pearl was a gold liner for Shenango China. She was a member of the former Madison Avenue Christian Church in Mahoningtown, where she was in the Ladies Aide Society. She also belonged to the Willow Grove Girl's Club.Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Anne Marie Cunningham, of Doylestown, PA; a daughter, Sylvia Huff, of New Castle; five grandchildren, Jeffery Huff and wife Laurie, of New Wilmington, Jennifer Huff Casey and husband Kevin, of Tampa, FL, Jody Cunningham Fousek, of Maui, HI, Gregory Cunningham and Randall Cunningham, both of Doylestown; nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Ed, Lester, and Fred Stickle; by two sisters, Lucy Wigley and Bernice Morgan; and a son-in-law, Keith Huff.Visitation will be Saturday, April 2, 2011, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.A memorial service will immediately follow with the Rev. John Yergan, of First Baptist Church, officiating. A private graveside service was held March 22, 2011 at Oak Park Cemetery.
