Perry M. Hooks, 73, of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of March 18, 2017 at the Grove of New Castle. Perry was born on January 9, 1944, in Franklin Twp., to the late Roy and Mildred Levans Hooks. He married the former Anna Musser. She preceded him in passing on March 18, 2013. Mr. Hooks was a Foreman with JL Steel. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and loved to draw and cheer on his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. Perry is survived by his two daughters and son-in-law, Tammy and Robert Moses of New Castle, Sherri Hooks of Wampum; son, Perry Hooks, Jr. of Locust Grove, VA; 4 brothers, Bill Larry, Jim, John and Jeff; 3 sisters, Linda, Janet and Middy; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, He was preceded in passing by his 4 brothers. Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm, on Tuesday, at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Rd. A funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
