Ralph E. Welker, age 88, of Neshannock Twp., passed away the early morning of May 25, 2023, at UPMC Passavant-McCandless Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

Born April 25, 1935, in New Castle, PA, he was the son of the late Paul E. and Velma M. (Taylor) Welker.

On June 14, 1958, he married his beloved wife of 62 years, Sally L. (Roberts) Welker. She preceded him in death on Jan. 24, 2021.

Ralph was a graduate of Shenango High School, class of 1953. He earned his associates degree from New Castle Business College. For 42 years, he was employed by Flowline Corporation, until his retirement. Ralph enjoyed golfing and reading, but his greatest joy, was spending time with his family. He was a member of First Baptist Church.

Ralph is survived by one daughter, Cynthia Welker, of New Castle, PA; and one sister, Delores Tindall, of New Castle, PA.

In addition to his parents and spouse, Ralph was preceded in death by his son, Rodney Welker, and one sister, Beverley Bacon.

Visitation will be held on Wed. May 31st from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation, at 1:00 PM, at the funeral home, with Pastor Scott Frederick of First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be alongside his wife at Oak Park Cemetery.
