Ray D. Bartholomew, 64, of New Wilmington, passed away the evening of February 13, 2018, at The Grove. Born March 14, 1953, in New Castle, he was the son of the late Carl J. and Norma Jean Seh Bartholomew. He married Susan Krestel Bartholomew, she survives. Mr. Bartholomew was a graduate of Mohawk High School. He went onto work at Blair Strip Steel where he retired. After retirement, Ray became a truck driver. Ray enjoyed bowling and yard work. He was a fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was a member of Maitland Lane Free Methodist Church. Ray especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Along with his wife Susan, Ray is survived by two daughters; Leigh Ann Bartholomew and Domenick Gaibis, both of New Castle, one son; Ryan Bartholomew of New Castle, two brothers; Jeff (Rita) Bartholomew of Edinburg , and Perry (Kim) Bartholomew of New Castle, two sisters; Debbie Peluso of New Castle and Heather (John) Wagner of New Castle, and one grandchild, Hayden Gaibis. Preceding him in death was his father, Carl J. Bartholomew. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
