Raymond P. Miskell, age 79, of Warren, OH, formerly of Austintown, OH passed away the early morning of Jan. 25, 2026, at Washington Square Healthcare, in Warren, Ohio.

Born Nov. 22, 1946, in Youngstown, OH, he was the son of the late Farris and Ruth (Megown) Miskell.

On May 10, 1969, he married Cheryl J. Kastner, his beloved wife of 55 years, until her passing on Dec. 20, 2024.

Raymond was a United States Marine and avid hunter. He worked as a welder for Heinz Industries, for several years, until his retirement. Raymond always looked forward to the times he was able to spend with his family.

Survivors include four nieces, Jessica Ruess of New Middletown, OH, Megan Ruess of Jasper, IN, Amy Barley of Gibsonia, PA, Nadine Davis of Aurora, OH; one cousin, Donald Ebersbacher of Chesterland, OH; two great-nieces and seven great-nephews.

Visitation will be on Sunday Feb. 1st from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A funeral service and full military rites will be held immediately following visitation at 2:00 PM, at the funeral home.

Burial will be alongside his wife at Castleview Cemetery.
