Retta Lee Jones, 78, of Union Township, passed away the morning of April 4, 2021 at her home. Born November 18, 1942 in New Castle, she was the daughter of Frank and Doris (Earl) Williamson. Retta is survived by her husband of 43 years, Glenn G. Jones, Sr., whom she married November 25, 1977. She was employed with Liberty Mutual as a proofreader until her retirement. A member of the Polish Falcons in New Castle, she enjoyed bowling, golf and camping. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Kay Lynn Price of Largo, FL and Beth Ann (Loren) Angiolelli of New Castle; three sons, Dan Price (companion Beth Schacher) of St. Petersburg, FL, Raymond Price of New Castle and Glenn G. (Monica) Jones, Jr. of Bessemer; two sisters, Jean Poe (Phil) of Sarasota, FL and Patty Brown (Bruce) of Pasadena, CA; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and her best friend, Bridget "Bebe" Williams of New Castle. She was preceded in death by her parents and one stepbrother, Tim Earl. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 8, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation Thursday at 8:00 with close friend, Matthew Callahan, officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
