Obituary

Rev. Nick Choco died unexpectedly Dec. 22, 2015 at his home in Hemet, CA surrounded by his family. He is survived by one son, Alan Choco(Pamela) and one daughter Kathie. Two sisters, Mildred Shaw, New Castle, PA, Glory Adams(Donald) of TN, three brothers, John Choco(Ronalyn) of Maple Valley, WA, Alexander Choco, Tarpon Springs, FL, Emmanuel Choco(Helen), New Castle, PA, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Nancy Caron and his wife Dorothy Reddick Choco, and three sisters, Mary Collingwood, Helen Lee and Elizabeth Kray. He was born Feb. 27, 1930 in New Castle, PA to Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Choco. He served in the United States Navy from 1948 to 1954, including the Korean Conflict. He graduated from the University of Valley Forge, Phoenixville,PA in 1955. He was an ordained minister in the Assemblies of God and served at Gardner Chapel, New Castle, PA and Pastor of the Assembly of God Church, Madera, CA, also serving ten years on the Presbytery Board of the Southern California District. Upon retiring after fifty years as a minister he was the owner and operator of the Bible Book Store in Hemet, CA along with his son, Alan Choco. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather committed to his faith and family. A funeral service is scheduled for Dec. 26, 5:00 p.m. at Miller-Jones Mortuary, 1501 W. Florida Ave., Hemet, CA 92546
