Rhoda M. Rosenberg, 93, of Reading, passed away December 8, 2013 at 10:43 pm in her home.She was the wife of the late Isadore Rosenberg who passed away in November of 1991. They were married on November 3, 1940. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Sarah (Graff) Safir. She was a member of Kesher Zion Synagogue and Temple Hadar Synagogue; Hadassah; Jewish Community Center; Kesher Zion Sisterhood and Wimodausis. Mrs. Rosenberg is survived by her children, Michael E. Rosenberg, and his wife Vicki, of Ohio, Sandee S. Rosenberg of California and Rose Safir of Maryland; her grandchildren, Allison Rosenberg, Raquel Schneider and Adam Safir; great grandchildren, Elia, Ava and Izak Safir and her siblings, Paul Safir, and wife, Elaine, Doris Brok, and husband, Robert and Marcia Gross all of Reading. Graveside services will be held in Tifereth Israel Cemetery on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at 12 noon. Rabbi Howie Stein will officiate. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
