Rhonda A. Rodgers, 49, of New Castle passed away December 2, 2016 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Born June 19, 1967 in New Castle, she was the daughter of Richard "Dickie" Caparoula and Judith Ann Henle Caparoula. She married Joseph L. Rodgers on May 13, 1989 whom survives at home. She graduated from Lawrence County Vo-Tech in 1985. She was employed as an LPN with Haven Nursing Home for 7 years and had previous employment as an LPN for Almira Home. Rhonda enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by one daughter, Jo Lynn Rodgers; one son, Cody Lee Rodgers; one sister, Tina (Edward) Mitchell; one nephew, Charles Davis; two nieces, Maddison and Shana Mitchell; three brother-in-law's, Scott (Michelle Wetzel) Rodgers, Wilbur (Jani) Rodgers, and Paul Rodgers; and one sister-in-law, Sammy Rodgers all of New Castle. She was preceded in death by her father and her mother-in-law, Elaine E. Cwiakala. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 2429 Wilmington Road. A Blessing Service will be on Wednesday at 10:00am at the funeral home with Father Joseph Codori of St. Vitus officiating.
