Richard J. Becker, Sr., age 83 of New Castle, passed away Nov. 2, 2024, at UPMC Jameson.

Born June 27, 1941, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Charles Becker and Winferd Veryl Kelly.

He married Goldie L. (Pratt) Becker, who preceded him in death.

Richard worked in construction. He enjoyed motorcycles and spending time with his family.

Survivors include four sons, Richard J. (Patricia) Becker, Jr., and Joseph Becker both of New Castle, PA, Thomas Crawford of Ellwood City, PA, and Michael (Emily) Crawford of Portersville, PA; one daughter Cheryl (Edward) Savage of New Castle, PA; one brother, Ronnie (Judy) Becker of Atlanta, GA; one sister, Billie Kelly of GA; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and spouse, Richard was preceded in death by two daughters, Nita Crawford, and Kimberly Hall.

In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation or services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.
