Richard T. Morgan, age 88, of Shenango Township, passed away the afternoon of April 3, 2015 at his residence.
Born March 4, 1927 in Lewistown, PA., he was a son of Cloyd W. and Cora Bardell Morgan.
Surviving at home is his wife of 68 years, Doris Elmer Morgan, whom he married December 25, 1946.
Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the Pacific during WWII.
He was employed with Armstrong Utilities as a construction foreman.
He was of Protestant faith.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Bradley T. Morgan of Grove City; one brother, Donald Morgan of Lewistown, PA; one sister, Mary Shingler of McClure, PA; two grandchildren, Joshua B. Morgan and Amanda D. Morgan; and one great-grandson, Benjamin B. Morgan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Robert, William and James Morgan; and 2 sisters, Luella and Helen Morgan.
A chapel service will be held on Tuesday at (time) at Graceland Mausoleum with Rev. John Yergan officiating.
