Richard "Rick" W. Flynn, 64, formerly of New Wilmington, passed away the morning of March 11, 2020 at his residence in Neshannock Township, surrounded by his loving family. Born March 10, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of Mary (Cramer) Watson and stepson of Dean Watson. He is survived by his devoted wife of 35 years, Linda (Sweet) Flynn, whom he married December 15, 1984. Rick was the owner of Preston of Sharon for many years until his retirement. He is a member of New Wilmington Presbyterian Church. Rick was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoyed golfing, fishing and travel. Family was paramount to him. He loved spending time with his loving wife, devoted children and beloved grandchildren. In addition to his wife Linda, he is survived by his one son, Christopher (Jamie) Flynn of Boardman, Ohio; two daughters, Erica (Lukas) Kneeland of Fredericksburg, Virginia and Katie (Josh) Crum of New Castle; one brother, James (Suzy) Watson of New Castle; one brother-in-law, Greg (Jane Acker) Sweet; three grandchildren, Virginia Kneeland, Flynn Kneeland and Cameron Crum; one nephew, Dylan (Keegan) Sweet and one niece, Morgan Sweet. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A funeral service will take place on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Matthew Camlin of New Wilmington Presbyterian Church officiating.
