Ricky 'Rick' 'Chicken' James Jones, age 63, of West Pittsburg, passed away the morning of April 4, 2024, at his residence.

Born June 22, 1960, in New Castle, he was the son of the late William C. and Ella Lee (Donnelly) Jones.

On Sept. 14, 1991, he married his beloved wife of 32 years, Lisa A. (Gerard) Jones, who survives at home.

Ricky was a graduate of Ne-Ca-Hi and remained an avid fan attending many games. He was employed by Kings Jewelry for 35 years. He enjoyed cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies, Marquette Basketball, and Michigan Football. Among some of his favorite past times, he enjoyed going to the casino and spending time with his family and friends, drinking Pabst Blue Ribbon around a bonfire, while listening to music. He was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his wife, Lisa, Ricky is survived by his children, Kaelyn M. Jones, and Corey J. Jones, both of West Pittsburg, PA; one brother, William A. (Patty) Jones of New Castle, PA; two brothers-in-law, Joseph A. (Tricia) Gerard and Timothy (Lori) Gerard; two sisters-in-law, Denise K. Gerard, and Kerry S. McShane (John Wuycik) and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents Ricky was preceded in death by three sisters-in-law, Cheryl A. Tribuzio, Vicki L. Gerard, and Lori J. Gillespie.

Visitation will be held on Wed. April 10th, from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A memorial service will be held immediately following visitation at 6:00 PM, at the funeral home, with Elder David Drake officiating.

Donations, in Ricky's honor, may be made to the donor's choice.

Burial will be at Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
