Robert 'Bob' D. Branscome, age 59, formerly of Neshannock Twp., now of Poland, OH, passed away the morning of July 2, 2024, at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born July 5, 1964, in New Castle, PA, he was the son of William F. and Carol L. (Slavens) Branscome.
On July 7, 1984, he married his high school sweetheart, since 1980, Kim (Cuhran) Branscome. They were married for nearly 40 wonderful years. She survives at home.
Bob was a 1982 graduate of Neshannock High School. He went on to further his education at Westminster College, graduating in 1988, and then attended Pittsburgh Theology Seminary. Bob was employed by Ohio Structures, Inc., where he worked in Quality Control. He was very intellectual and loved to read, play guitar, and spend time with his dogs. Bob attended First Assembly of God.
Above everything else in life, Bob loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will always be remembered as an amazing husband and father who raised his family through faith and love.
In addition to his parents and wife, Bob is survived by three daughters, Rebekah L. (Robert) Beichner and Sarah K. (Brandon) Kauffman both of New Castle, PA, Hannah E. (Jarred) Hepler of Stafford, VA; one son, Robert W. (Kimberly) Branscome of New Castle, PA; one sister, Beth (Rick) Gibson of Columbus, OH; and five grandchildren, Clara, Lucy, and Lynn Beichner, and Daisy and Asher Kauffman.
Visitation will be held on Friday July 5th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at First Assembly of God, 2021 Pulaski Road, New Castle.
A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation, at the church at noon, with Pastor Jarred Hepler, officiating.
Burial will be at Castleview Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be offered to Buddy Up For Life, which was founded for Bob's nephew Will, that supports individuals with Downs Syndrome. Contributions may be mailed to 3989 Farber Court, New Albany, OH, 43054.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle, where online condolences may be offered to the family by visiting www.cunninghamfh.com.
