Robert S. Cameron, age 85, of North Fort Myers, FL., formerly of New Castle, PA, passed away on July 28, 2024, at his residence.

Born July 29, 1938, in New Castle, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Genevieve (Linton) Cameron.

He was married to his beloved wife, Claudia (Linton) Cameron, for 66 years. She survives at home.

Mr. Cameron was a 1956 graduate of Union High School. He worked his entire life until retirement at Carbon Limestone (Essroc) as a Quarry Superintendent. Bob loved to restore classic cars and was a big NASCAR fan, especially Dale Earnhardt. He was a member of the Masons and The Rapid Tappets Car Club. What Bob enjoyed most was spending time with his family. He was a former member of Mahoning Presbyterian Church.

In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by two daughters, Chelly (Rick) Mazzei of Fairview, NC, and Kelly (Mark) Ritko of Hollidaysburg, PA; one brother, Ron (Char) Cameron of Mt. Jackson, PA; one sister Beverly Patton of Edinburg, PA; and three grandchildren, Cameron Mazzei, Natali Mazzei, and Rylee Ritko.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Carol Cicoretti.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 4th, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at R. Cunningham Funeral Home, 2429 Wilmington Road.

A funeral service will immediately follow visitation at 4:00 PM at the funeral home with

Rev. Dr. Anthony Kladitis of Faith Presbyterian Church officiating.

Burial will be at Castleview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in honor of Robert to the Salvation Army.
