Robert J. George, Sr., 79, of New Castle, passed away the morning of November 12, 2017 at his home. Born May 18, 1938 in New Castle, he was the son of Paul and Olive George. He is survived by his former wife, Margaret Peggy George. Mr. George was an employee of Pallott Construction until his retirement. In recent years he enjoyed fishing. He loved his faithful companion, his dog Kayla, as well as his granddogs and enjoyed spending time with his great-grandchildren. He is survived by two daughters, Diana Show and Lisa (Tom) Jurina of New Castle; one son, Robert J. Bob (Annie) George, Jr. of Riverside, AL; two brothers, Leslie George of Arizona and Paul Sam George of Florida; one sister, Lillian Rozzi of Florida; 4 grandchildren, Danny (Crystl) Show, Jr. and Edward (Hannah) Jurina of PA. and Ashley (Zane) Shaffer and Aaron George of Alabama; and 3 great-grandchildren, Dru Show, Brooke Show and Rily Goodwin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Danny Show, Sr. In keeping with Roberts wishes, there will be no visitation. A private family service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Ellwood City. Arrangements are by the R.
