Robert Lee Knight, 69, of New Castle, passed away the morning of April 21, 2014 at his residence.Born August 12, 1944, he was the son of Walburn and Marie Winters Knight.Robert served in the U.S. Army and was a lab technician and lab supervisor at Jameson Hospital.He enjoyed hunting and fishing.Robert is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey E. and Beth Knight of New Castle and Sean R. and Rochelle Knight of Sarver, PA; and eight grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and a sister.Visitation will be Wednesday, April 23, 2014, from 4-7 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.A funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Robert Cummins will officiate.Burial will be at Castle View Gardens.
