Robert C. "Bob" Peterson, 68, of New Castle, passed away the morning of August 9, 2011 in Trinity Living Center, Grove City.Born March 8, 1943 in New Castle, he was a son of Victor and Alice Peterson Roman. He was formerly married to Caroline Peterson.He was a graduate of East Denver High School. Bob was as a security guard and had previously worked in Florence, Colorado as a Deputy Sheriff. He also was a licensed barber.He enjoyed fishing and hunting.Bob is survived by his mother, Alice, of New Castle; one aunt, Fay Minteer of Edinburg; and several cousins and friends.In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; three uncles, Fred and Robert Peterson, and Edward Pattrick; and one aunt, Ruth Barnes.There will be no calling hours.Interment will be Monday, August 15, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Park Cemtery.Arrangements are by the R.
