Robert R. Cameron, 75, of New Castle, passed away the morning of November 11, 2017 at UPMC Jameson. Robert was born on January 29, 1942, in New Castle, to the late Kenneth and Luella Minteer Cameron. He married the former Jackie Newton on March 30, 1962. She survives. Mr. Cameron was a driver for 55 years with McClymond's Transport in Portersville, PA. He was a avid Pittsburgh sports fan and loved Allis-Chalmers Tractors. Robert enjoyed the tractor pulls and farming. Mr. Cameron had a passion for NASCAR, stock car and drag racing. he was an antique, muscle and custom car enthusiast and spent time restoring, painting and modifying cars. Robert attended Faith Country Chapel. In addition to his wife, Mr. Cameron is survived by his two daughters, Shelby Wertz and Doreen Pacai, both of New Castle; one son, Troy Cameron, of New Castle; one sister, Delores Quimby, of New Castle; seven grandchildren and 1 great grandchild Robert was preceded in passing by his parents; one infant son, Ronnie Cameron and one brother, Kenny Cameron. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-8 pm and 10-11 am on Wednesday at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429Wilmington Rd. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Rd. Rev. Stephen Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Mt.
