Robert J. Shaffer, 70, of Neshannock Township, passed away the early morning of March 3, 2024, at Addison Healthcare Center in Masury, Ohio.

Born February 18, 1954, in New Castle, he was the son of Robert M. and Delores (Miller) Shaffer.

Bob was a 1972 graduate of Laurel High School. He was employed with ServiStar in Butler, PA as a shipping supervisor until his retirement.

Mr. Shaffer served on the Neshannock Woods Residence Council. He enjoyed watching western movies and especially attending his grandchildren's sporting and dance events. He was of Presbyterian faith.

He is survived by one daughter, DeAnna (Michael) Cancilla of Pittsburgh; one son, Robert (Angelica) Shaffer of New Castle; and two grandchildren, Rayna and Illyana Shaffer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lucinda Shaffer.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 7:00 at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. Rev. Richard Kinney will officiate.
