Robert E. Utaras, 47, of New Castle, passed away the evening of June 1, 2012, at Jameson Memorial Hospital.Robert was born on December 30, 1964 in New Castle, PA. He was a graduate of Neshaminy High School in Langhorne, PA and joined the US Army. Mr. Utaras was a machine operator and welder for Trinity Steel. Robert enjoyed spending his free time playing softball and golf. He was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church.Mr. Utaras is survived by his parents, Clement J. Utaras and Jacqueline Stokes, both of Florida; a daughter, Summer Utaras of North Fort Myers, FL; a sister, Renee Hall of New Castle and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.Robert was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 5,2012, from 6-9 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Rd.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Andrew Jillson will officiate.
