Robert C. Wagner, 64, of New Castle, passed away the morning of October 17, 2013 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital. Born February 8, 1949 in Lower Burrell, PA, he was the son of Robert and Audrey Wagner. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Linda, whom he married June 16, 1979. Bob received his Bachelor's degree in marketing from Penn State University. Prior to becoming a business consultant, Bob was the CEO of People's Bank. A board member of Jameson Care Center and a former member of the New Castle Rotary Club No.89, he was also an alumni of the AXP Fraternity at Penn State. He was an antique car enthusiast and enjoyed golfing. In addition to his wife Linda, he is survived by daughter, Lauren Wagner of San Francisco, CA; son, R.J. Wagner of Allentown, PA; and sister, Karen Washburn of Etna, NH. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, from 3:00-4:30 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A memorial service will be held immediately following visitation Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home and will be officiated by his brother-in-law, Pastor Lou Jarratt. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or Angels for Animals.
