Robert Dale Wetzel, age 80, of Pulaski, PA, passed away the evening of Jan. 31, 2025, at his residence.

Born May 18, 1944, in Volant, PA, he was the son of the late Samuel and Laura Ruth (Miller) Wetzel.

Dale was a graduate of Wilmington High School. For 36 years, he worked in the maintenance department, employed by Wilmington Area School District, until his retirement in 2010. Dale enjoyed woodworking, painting, camping, and music. What he treasured most, was the time he spent with his family. He was a member of Rich Hill Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his nephew, John Wetzel; and one sister, Donna Jean Buchowski of Volant, PA.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be held on Wed. Feb. 5th from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation, at 6:00 PM, at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Rich Hill Cemetery.
