Roberta Lee Forsey, 86, of Neshannock Township, passed away the night of March 8, 2016 at Paramount Senior Living at Cranberry in Mars, Pa. Born August 19, 1929 in Mt. Pleasant, PA, she was the daughter of Welty and Jesse (Bobbs) Washabau. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Theodore J. Forsey, whom she married May 23, 1959. She was a 1947 graduate of Ramsay High School in Mt. Pleasant, PA. Roberta was a homemaker and often volunteered with Jameson Hospital. She enjoyed reading, playing cards- especially bridge, and socializing with friends and family. Roberta was a member of King's Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, James J. (Debi) Forsey of Pittsburgh, and Thomas E. (Kathy) Forsey of Silver Spring, MD; and two grandchildren, Alexa Forsey and Jess Forsey. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Irene Briercheck and Sherre Silvis. Visitation will be held on Friday from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A funeral service will take place on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas Scott officiating.
