Roberta L. Hendricks, 80, of New Castle passed away the night of August 16, 2020 at The Grove at New Wilmington. Born March 3, 1940 in New Castle, she was a daughter of Albert and Mabel L. (Walker) Hammond. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rev. Donald L. Hendricks. Roberta was a nurse's aide and an in-home caretaker. An active member of the Ray Street Church of God, she was involved in helping with youth ministries. She loved her dog and enjoyed watching television and frequenting restaurants with her family. She is survived by one son, Steven Hendricks and wife Darlene Fair of Youngstown, Ohio; one brother, Paul Hammond of New Castle; and four grandchildren, Trevor Hendricks, Katherine Guminski, Michael Guminski and Charles Fair. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Arrangements are being handled by the R.
