Rodney D. Fothergill, 52, of Ocean View, DE, passed away the evening of Dec. 26, 2012 in Christina Hospital in Newark, DE.Rodney was born on June 25, 1960 in Cincinnati, OH to Raymond Fothergill and, the former, Glorie Rohr. He was a construction worker and spent most of his time working in the Delaware area.Rodney is survived by his mother and step-father, Glorie and Gerald Geisel of New Wilmington; one sister and brother-in-law, Beth and Ken Behr of New Castle; one niece, Danielle Callahan and her husband, Ryan; one nephew, Brandon Ryan and one great nephew, Parker Callahan. He was preceded in passing by his father, two uncles, Denny and David Fothergill and his aunt Connie Braun. Visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, from 12-1 pm at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., New Castle, PA, with a service following at 1:00 pm. Burial will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery.
