Roger T. Woodside, 80 of Pulaski passed away on December 20th at his residence.
Born on February 27, 1941, in Spangler, PA, he was the son of William H. and Virginia M. (Anderson) Woodside.
Roger served in the United States Army from 1961 to 1964. He was a member of several Veterans and Social clubs that include, Coitsville VFW, Albert Street VFW and the Youngstown Acme Club, in Coitsville.
Mr. Woodside was employed as a "Freight Transportation Specialist" for Falcon Trucking, retiring in 2003. Roger was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed being a youth sports coach in his younger years. He loved spending time doing yard work.
Roger is survived by his daughter, Lisa L. Woodside of Raleigh, North Carolina; three sons, Robert A. Woodside, Douglas M. Woodside both of Austintown, OH; and Daniel A. Woodside of Greenville, PA; two brothers, John Woodside of Cleveland, OH and Dennis Woodside of Johnstown, PA; three grandchildren, Austin M., Braden L. and Emily Woodside; and four great-grandchildren, Sadie, Jack, Baylor and Addison.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, William Woodside and former spouse, Janice Woodside.
Visitation will be held at R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., New Castle, Monday December 27th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will immediately follow visitation at 7:00 PM with Rev. Marsha Parrish officiating.
