Ronald L. Ritchie, 80, of 251 Rapson Avenue, passed away the morning of August 29, 2012 at his residence.Born November 9, 1931, in Lima, Ohio, he was a son of Arthur D. Ritchie and Margaret Steigman Ritchie McMillen.He married the former Martha McConahy on March 10, 1984.Ronald served his country in the U.S. Navy as a medic during the Korean War.He retired in 1985 an electrician with the Electrical Workers Union 573 in Warren, Ohio.Ronald was a member of the VFW in West Middlesex and enjoyed golf and football. He was a member of Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church.In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Ronald Paul (Leanne) Ritchie of Ft. Myers, FL, Scott (Wendy) Ritchie of Loveland, CO, and Michael Ritchie of Garden City, SC; one daughter, Connie Ritchie Davis of Ft. Myers, FL; one step-daughter, Renee (John) Vannatten of Taylor, MI; one foster brother, Roger (Sandy) Brockert of Lima, OH; one foster sister, Rita Truesdale of Lima, OH; one step sister, Sharon McCaslin of Lima, OH; 11 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David Ritchie.Visitation will be held on Friday, August 31, 2012, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.A funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 11:00 a.m. Friday. The Rev.
